You Get One Song

A friend recently commented that she liked when I blogged about music. It has been quite some time since I did…which got me thinking. Stephen Colbert has this segment on his show where he asks his guests questions to get to know them better. One question is: “You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life:  what is it?”

This is very difficult to answer. There are so many genres of music I love. So I did my best and got three songs.

Opera (the song that breaks my heart) – “Nessun Dorma” by Pavarotti

Rock (the song that makes me wish I could play the electric guitar) – “Gold on The Ceiling” by the Black Keys

Dance (the song I can’t listen to without smiling) – “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls

Can you pick just one song?
